Once Upon a Skirt
With Spring feeling so far away, it’s nice to add a bright pop of color to your outfit. Here in Edmonton it still feels like the dead of Winter so I offset the skirt with some black and gray. I added my favourite leopard pumps to mix with the texture of the tweed jacket. Here’s to Spring getting here as quickly as possible!

Once Upon a Bright
I think the best way to combat the Winter Blues is to wear bright clothing. It’s hard not to be in a good mood when wearing neon! I am also obsessed with these booties! They were a Christmas gift from my Mom and I have been wearing them non-stop. I hope everyone had a great holiday season!

Once Upon a Cord
For years I have dissed cords and refused to even acknowledge their presence in the world of style and fashion. So imagine my surprise to find a pair that not only felt great but were actually flattering! I love the teal color and was surprised at how many different outfits I have been able to build around them. The key is that this particular pair has smaller ribbing so as not to add so much bulk. Consider me converted!

Once Upon a Dress
As you can see it is officially winter here! I really love the color and pattern in this dress and thought it paired so well with burgundy tights! I do wish I had more photos of the dress itself, but as you can imagine it was freezing outside! Once Upon a Color
Oxblood seems to be the color of the season, and I say go big or go home which in this case means oxblood head to toe! A white blouse broke up the color nicely and why would I wear anything else but leopard flats?
