I have a slight obsession with the chocolate covered pretzels from Starbucks. I thought I would try my own take on them and whip up a batch of Christmas themed pretzels. This recipe required very little effort and the result is a great salty/sweet/crunchy treat.

You’ll need:

A bag of braided pretzels (I got mine from Superstore)

1 bag of milk chocolate chips

1 bag of white chocolate chips

Candy canes or any other type of crushed candy

I suggest using a double boiler to melt the chocolate as opposed to melting it in the microwave. Once the chocolate is melted all the way through simply dip the pretzels into the chocolate and place them on a baking sheet with either parchment paper or tin foil (this makes them easier to take off once they harden). Crush your candies and roll the pretzels while the chocolate is still melted. Place the trays in the fridge to harden and you’re done! These would also make a great gift. You can pop them into some cute tea cups or a coffee mug for an easy gift.
