I love the idea of dressing in one shade head to toe. Instead of feeling old fashioned or too matchy matchy, it feels fresh and chic. The key to making it modern is to mix fabrics and textures. Plaid is such an essential for Fall and really does go with everything so I decided to pair a burgundy plaid with jeans in the same color. I threw in some neutral accessories and I couldn’t be happier with the results!

Have you tried the monochromatic look yet?

  2. I’m having a major monochromatic moment, too. I’m also envious of your half-tucked/half-untucked abilities. Seriously, it’s an art, which I can’t seem to master!

P.S. My blog F Yeah! turned 1 last week so I’m giving away a Louis Vuitton clutch. If you’re interested, enter here –> http://www.fyeahblog.com/happy-birthday-f-yeah
