I decided to make peanut butter balls for Valentines Day this year. It it such an easy recipe and to make them festive I used white chocolate and used food coloring to make them pink. They’re a great treat and you can easily double the recipe.
Peanut Butter Balls
1 cup of sifted powdered sugar
1/2 cup of peanut butter (smooth or creamy)
3 tablespoons of butter or margarine
1 package of baking chocolate
Directions:
Mix the sugar, peanut butter and butter with a hand mixer. Roll out the balls and lay them on a non-stick pan or a pan covered with wax paper.
Leave them for atleast 20 minutes before you dip them in the chocolate. Melt the chocolate with whatever method you prefer. ( I used a double boiler).
Some tips:
I put mine in the freezer after I dipped them in the chocolate. It helps them to set faster.
Make sure to mix the ingredients until you get the consistency as seen below.
Buy a second package of chocolate in case you eat all the delicious melted chocolate before you have time to roll the peanut butter balls!
